What the first session actually looks like.

The most common reason people put this off is not knowing what they are walking into. So here it is, in order.

  1. Before

    You get a link by email. Nothing to download, no account to create. You don’t have to prepare anything and you don’t have to write anything down beforehand.

  2. The first few minutes

    I ask what brought you here. If you don’t have a clear answer, say that. It is a normal answer and it is where a lot of people start.

  3. If you get stuck

    Some people freeze. Some cry. Some talk about the weather for ten minutes before anything real comes out. None of that is a problem and none of it is wasted time. You are not being assessed and there is no way to do this wrong.

  4. The rest of the hour

    We follow whatever turned out to matter. I will ask, say back what I understood, and help you untangle what connects to what. Sometimes the largest piece of work is done the moment a thing is said out loud and somebody can hold it.

  5. At the end

    We look at whether that was useful to you and whether you want to come back. There is nothing to commit to. And if I think someone else would serve you better, I will say so, and I will tell you who.

What I collect

If you use the contact form: your name, e-mail address and the message you write. The form is handled by Netlify, which stores the submission so I can read it. If you book a session: the name, e-mail address and time slot you give the booking calendar, which is run by Cal.com. If you pay for the session online, the payment is processed by the payment provider Cal.com uses. I never see or store your card details.

Why, and on what legal basis

To arrange and confirm sessions (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to answer your enquiry (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Anything you tell me in a session is covered by professional confidentiality and is never shared without your consent, except where the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site loads no analytics or advertising scripts until you agree to them. If you accept, Google Ads conversion tracking is loaded, which sets its own cookies and tells me that an enquiry came from an advert, without telling me who you are. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, nothing is loaded. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.

Web fonts are served by bunny.net, which does not profile visitors. The booking calendar is embedded from Cal.com, which sets its own cookies once you interact with it. The site itself is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. Write to me and I will handle it. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work together are deleted within a year. Records related to sessions are kept for the minimum period the law requires.
