I work from the belief that you know more about yourself than you might think right now. My work is to create a space where you can be heard. No diagnoses, no advice, no conditions. Have questions? Write to me.

You're in the right place if...
You function on the outside, but feel empty or disconnected inside, without being able to quite name why.
You live the life that was expected of you, not the one that feels like yours.
Nothing feels meaningful, even when everything looks fine from the outside.
You keep repeating the same patterns in relationships or work and don't know how to change them.
You feel like a stranger to yourself.
You experience anxiety or burnout but tell yourself it's not serious enough to seek help.
You don't know what you want from life, and that question weighs on you.
You want a space where you don't have to perform or have it all figured out.
You don't need to know exactly what you're bringing. Just show up. Have questions first? Write to me below.

Book a session →At first I didn't really know what to expect from therapy, and I was a bit nervous about it. It helped that I didn't have to perform or have everything figured out. Gradually, through our sessions, I started noticing more of what I actually feel and being a little less hard on myself.
Therapy was mainly a place where I could say things out loud without feeling judged. Sometimes I only understood something in the act of saying it. It wasn't always easy, but it helped me know myself better.
I wasn't expecting any miracles, and that's not what it was. It was more that I had time to stop and look at things I'd been putting off for a long time. It helped that you didn't give me quick answers, but let me get there in my own way.
I studied psychology at the University of New York in Prague and I'm completing the Psychotherapy Training at the PCA Institute. But what drew me to it was simpler: a genuine curiosity about people, and about why some of us end up feeling like strangers to ourselves.
PCA (person-centred approach) doesn't mean I come in with answers or a view on what you're lacking. What matters to me is that the session has room for what you feel is important. Not what I think.
That doesn't mean you're on your own. I'm here and I'm paying attention. I won't steer you toward answers I've already worked out in my head. You're the one who decides where this goes.
In sessions I don't fire questions, take notes at a desk, or try to quickly work out what's wrong with you. I'm interested in what you say. And in what's underneath what you say out loud.
I also work with expats living in the Czech Republic who need support in English, whether that's adjusting to a new country, navigating cultural differences, or simply having someone to talk to in your own language.
No. Sometimes it's enough to know that something keeps repeating, that it feels like too much, or that you don't want to carry it alone anymore. The first session is exactly for that: to name together what matters now.
No. After the first session you're free to decide whether you want to continue. No commitment required.
It depends on what you're working on. The work usually spans months, occasionally longer. But no one commits you to anything. You come for as long as it feels right, and stop when you want.
Yes. Everything we discuss is confidential and bound by professional confidentiality. I follow the ethical standards of the field. The only legal exception involves immediate risk to life. If that ever arose, we would talk through next steps as openly as possible.
My work has its limits and it's important to name them. I don't work with conditions that need a psychiatrist or specialised treatment, for example addictions, schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, severe OCD, acute suicidality, or severe eating disorders. If you are in acute crisis or at risk, please call emergency services (155) or a crisis line (116 123). Online counselling is not suitable for acute crises. Otherwise I won't leave you without support, I'll help you find someone more suitable.
I offer psychological counselling, not healthcare psychotherapy, though my work is strongly shaped by person-centred psychotherapy training. PCA (person-centred approach) starts from the assumption that you know more about yourself than you might think right now. My role isn't to diagnose, advise, or lead you somewhere I've already decided on. I follow what you bring. We meet regularly and things tend to get clearer over time.
Wondering what to expect from the first session? Or not sure if this is the right place for you? Write to me. I reply personally, and I'm happy to.
I usually reply within two working days.
Not ready to book yet? Start by reading. You might recognise something of yourself in one of these.
It's not about having a diagnosis or being in crisis. It's about when talking to yourself stops being enough.
PCA doesn't mean getting a list of tasks. I explain what really happens in a session and why I work this way.
Feeling lost even when life looks fine from the outside. What's behind it and what a conversation can actually do.
